Whilst wandering aimlessly through the internet I happened across this example of unfair treatment and harsh imprisonment

Frankly I'm shocked. Is there not enough cruelty in the world already without tiny helpless creatures being treated like this for the pleasure and titilation of people?

Are these beings not rare enough already? Need they be pushed closer to extinction for the sake of a few collectors?

What is causing me such concern you ask?

Warning may shock some people..... shocked

I think we should start a petition to ban this trade before it finds a niche in popular culture.

Poor fairies? Poor kids that get one of those creepy things and told they are a legal guardian now...

They look like a cross between a garden gnome and a hooker with wing stuck on afterwards...

They're well expensive too.. I'll make anyone who wnats one for £10. Warning - they will be made of paper, so no faeries will be harmed in their construction.

Or I'll make one out of mud for £15.

Bottle not included.

What a wonderful miracle if only we could look through each other's eyes for an instant.

I've gno doubt this is the work of GNOMES

They have a long running grudge against the faeries on account that they were given wings, while the non-airborne gnomes were only equipped only with toadstools and fishing rods.

Mind you, they have a point. I know which I would choose.

(mushrooms, of course wink )
