wavehelloHello hello,

I just wanted to say hi, and pass a little thanks along to all those who make this site what it is!

I'm a 23 year old Canadian working in Nice for the summer - and I brought along my poi. I had purchased a copy of Michal Kahn's Poi Spinning but was too heavy to backpack with. smile This site was quite helpfull for reminding me of the basics. thankx

I had my first real experiance with poi spinning last August with my maiden voyage to Burning Man. I had seen poisters before but was always too intimidated to try it out myself. It still took me a few months to get myself a pair (of poi, that is) and start practicing. I'm at the point where I have the basics down pat and am starting to improvise and develop new moves - at least new for me smile.

If anybody is still reading this and has a clue as to how I might find some poisters here on the Cote D'Azur - send me a note! I'd love ta hear from ya.

Ciao,

Hi Dane from a fellow new forumer! Wow, from the couple of intros I've read tonight, everyone seems to be living a fantastic life somewhere scenic. Incidentally I know another Dane who flew off to Argentina (from Brisbane) a couple of days ago (to propose in fact!). My passport's getting restless.. ubblol
