I thought this could make interesting reading - hope it hasn't been asked before...

What is you favourite place to practice/perform your skills? It could be real or conceptual, past or future. No rules.

My favourite place to practice has to be Bowl Hill, Sheffield. Great view, nice air, and nice old people walking their dogs to give you complements.

To perform... well, I guess any large club with an elevated stage and good music. I like to be able to see everyones faces and be able to see them react when you really thrash it out.

your turn.

Zero-G spinning could be very interesting. I think it would make release wraps easier, and smaller people could spin more easily, since there's less inertia to overcome... 'Course, with oxygen being such a high ticket item, spinning anything lit would be a spectacular luxury. But think of how pretty comet poi would be...
*Malcolm, have you read any of Spider Robinson's "Star..." books? Superbly researched and thought out representations of living outside of a gravity well, and cracking good reads at that...*

For me, probably on a beach, maybe on some kind of smooth pad on the sand, so i could really dance while spinning.
Or on the big lawn at Planet Blugrass, Lyons, Colorado...

To preform I would love to be spinning for THE TEA PARTY on stage at one of their concerts... Seeing as the tea are GODS I suppose that would be my form of heaven... Spinning, The Tea, what more could I want??? sigh...

TAJ "boat mummy." VALURA "yes sweetie you went on a boat, was daddy there with you?" TAJ "no, but monkey on boat" VALURA "well then sweetie, Daddy WAS there with you"

Tea is the key.
I could spin for 3 days solid if someone provided me with a constant supply of tea.

KATE BUSH!!!!! back in her younger, sexy, i wanna make out with arashi after the show days, that is.

practice space? i couldn't ask for a better. 8 acres of oak trees and river, right smack in the middle of a major metropolis. complete with a big sound system i can run all night, hundreds of cd's, and lots of mirrors, and a bathroom. and fire pits.
the only thing it doesn't have is a geodesic dome with suspension gear, with bungees and pulleys to do crouching tiger flailing fireball stuff. but we're working on that too!
