almost as cool as the title makes it sound!

This is my first poi video ever (please be nice smile ) it was filmed and produced in a day back in summer when me and my bro were bored and he had a new imac!!

I don't want to give much away about the video, best that it's contents are a surprise i guess! hope u enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it, it's only little, about a minute long and 5mb in size in .mov

i think that if you right click and save as it will work, otherwise click it and see what happens, it's the first time i've hosted anything on the internet either so fingers crossed:

also i just posted an intro thread for those who don't know who i am, ie. everybody!

happy new year all poi community!!!!

cheers for the enthusiasm people, am really chuffed other people actually enjoyed it!

SPOILER WARNING! don't read past this post if you want a proper surprise when watching the video!

unfortunately mot I cannot claim credit for the production- that was the incredible work of my brother- i helped (and watched in awe)! i'd like to say that i gave artistic inspiration, direction and suggested a few ideas, but then again i didn't even touch the computer past cutting down the raw images! i really didn't expect him to be able to do the things i asked of him and so much more!

fire away with your questions though i'm home from uni at the moment and he's here. basically we used final cut pro on his imac, a professional editing program used for shows like scrubs (among others). we noticed a green screen feature, a giant green tarpaulin in the back garden and a giant flat space on the side of our barn. it's an expensive program which we "ahem" stumbled upon cheaply on the internet ;-)

furrypeople if you managed to download it alright (just check you got all of it: 6.13 MB (6,429,839 bytes)) then maybe it's the media player you're using. I don't think it's got any funny encoding though, it plays fine on my windows media player and quicktime. I reckon quicktime's your best bet though, with it you definately won't need any codecs, just download the latest version mac or pc free from this link:

https://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

if you already have quicktime 7 then i'm stumped.

take care everybody!

Hmmm. Yep, got all of it.

Even deleted it and tried again.

Also, tried to play it in Quicktime (wouldn't recognise it), WMP (same thing), Winamp, and Realplayer.... don't know what's going on. Ah well.

I can hear the sound, but no picture
