Hello!

My name is Melissa, and I live in Newfoundland, Canada. I've been doing poi for about a year and a half now, and just got really involved in doing fire poi. I'm currently looking at making another set of fire poi out of rope wick, as opposed to the fairly normal set that I've been making so far. I also juggle clubs and balls and I do a lot of passing. Outside of circus stuff, I'm a musician, and I'm looking at going to journalism school in the fall. I fail at riding unicycles. That's about it for me... juggle

I know, it took me a bit to get this up... I was a bit of a forum spook for a while there.

I do juggle, I will be in Other Toys lots, I play the flute and I sing, and yes. Yes. Everyone can have some maple syrup. =)

i've been intrigued about flute recently.. i play the sax mostly.. would you think it would be hard to take up flute because of embouchure difference?

I play the flute too (incidently I'm also a failed unicyclist, it's a very exclusive club you know!). I think it would be ok to go from sax to flute, Whenever I've tried playing clarinet or oboe I managed ok.
