Well, all nervousness aside, I did really well in my audition and I think I'm probably in their new show starting around Easter. Right now I think I'll either be awake all night or passing out from hyperventilating

They really could've taken the time to talk personally to each and every person, or better yet have the wisdom to tell everyone that they aren't going well a few weeks earlier.
That being said, I'm sure you'll be able to find a new job somewhere - hospitality could always use more people!

Hey.. at least they did text you.. a guy I know who's a chef came into work one day to find the baliffs repossessing the kitchen..
On a side note, while I was in Malaysia, there was a government campaign to persuade guys to not divorce their wives by text.. You know, Islamic tradition, saying 'I divorce you' 3 times.. even easier if you just send the same one repeatedly..
Sorry for lack of sympathy, I'd be nicer if I had a job.
