I went to the supermarket yesterday to get food for lunch....
and slipped on a grape and broke me ankle.
Ended up in a ambulance in a hospital and now with a cast on my leg and my sister in law here helping me with the baby!

At least you did it in winter so the cast wont itch and stink as much as it could if you did it about November.
Get a copy of the security tapes ASAP before they wipe the evidence, like today before closing time.

I have started looking into making a claim becasue it actually popped a bit of my bone off and they cant find where it came from! I may have to have surgery on it yet!
The lawyers are all like...ohhhh its hard to get a payout from that type of thing according to QLD law etc etc... So I have to wait and see what happens... Unless I go to woolies and tell them I want free groceries for a two year period! OHHH how much money I would save!
I have a backslab on my leg at the moment and in ten days I have a new one put on and some special cat scans on my leg...
Im hoping that they will put a pretty purple cast on and sprinkle some glitter in it for me....If not...Ill snap kick them with my cast foot... that may change their mind...*giggles*

Its about time I had some goodey goodness...Dunc...when I was getting my leg set I said to my Dad that I was going to put Tajs handprints on there! Great minds think alike huh?
Its so hard looking after a very active ten month old baby when you have crutches... so I am in a wheelchair at the moment and when I drive around Taj makes a lil brooooommmmm broooooommmm sound like a car... SO CUTE!

I walked very carefully through the fruit aisle at the shops and managed to step on my own (done up) laces and trip. One of those ickle trips that make you look a numpty but no bruises or falling to the ground thank goodness.

Today I went to the quack who advised that I may or may not have a broken leg...*blank stoopid look*
He was a lazy *blankity blank blank* who just put me in a new type of cast so I could wash my skinny hairy leg more regularly. He didnt even take new xrays and when I asked him about the small bit of floating bone in my ankle he SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS and said...get this....I DONT KNOW.
(me doctor that fail medical exam?! UNPOSSIBLE)
so I have also attached silly pictures of me as robogirl, with a cast that we have to pump up with a special little pump.
