Posted: We are attempting to set a world record for the most people doing poi at once in Whakatane on Friday July 15, 2006.
All comers welcome - we aim to have at least 1,000 people take part and we will be performing to 'Poi E' by the Patea Maori Club.
Attempt will take place at approx 7.30pm, downtown Whakatane, New Zealand. We have registered with Guinness World Records and will know before the event whether it will be officially recognised...
