Toys: hmmm... at the moment staff, hopefully soon the whip and breathing.

New to staffing, and hoping to start breathing and using the whip soon. I really like poi, but for the time being i'm no where near good enough to even think about that yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially about the whip, as i have never even seen one of these used before.

welcome to hop
what i find is whip is very fun, very addictive, vary dangerous(really it is, if you do it expect to get hurt) and sooo very pretty with fire. and is soo worth the effort. if you search in the technical discussion or other toys sections there will be threads on whip (use the search function at the top of the page). Also you will want to consider weather you will want to do fire whip or not, as it is very different to using bull whips, though feel free to do both. and most of all play safe and have fun
also, someone is no doubt going to say something along the lines of "there is an introduction template, please copy/use it" and they will no doubt have a point so it may as well be me.
