whats the story with lads taking their shirts off while doing poi your more likely to get burned and i find it quiet offensive keep the t shirts on lads please id rather not see another skinny half naked bloke spinning poi. tanks if its not too much hassle

Generally speaking, I'm very much in favour of guys spinning half-naked, as long as they don't try to communicate at the same time. Out of whatever reason my mental capabilities shrink when there are sights like that available. So: either communication or being half-naked (the same goes for tight clothes, wet clothes, completely naked, ...).

I've seen NC on the news.
There be lots of cold weather in them there parts.
Which makes me think the my bodily reaction will cause some parts to stick out more and interfere with my spinning.
(besides, have you ever spun in the really cold? You can't feel the poi in your hands nor the fire on your skin...it's creepy)

Yep...gets a tit bit nipply...heehee...here in NC. Is icy out at the moment...naked spinning must be kept indoors for the time being with no fire...unless of course I'd like to burn my house down...sooooo....
Never spun in the cold but used to be in marching band and remember not being able to feel my fingers moving on the keys...not a pleasant feeling...not being able to feel your feet and trying to march was no picnic, either!!!

arent the poi tutorial dvds also show competitions and are in 2 sections so there is no need to watch the naked bodies if you bought it too learn poi.
i find poi extremely hard when wearing much clothing or baggy clothing as they get caught.
when clubbing i can spin really well (non fire) wearing jus my fluffy bikini or other various bikinis and revealing clothes
enticed, entrapped, entombed.
intoxicated, impaled, ingested.
bewitched, beaten, broken.
