not long....only about 6 months...maybe a little less. i was always interested in it for about a year but never got around to picking it up and throwing some stuff until i met my dude david...hes the best poi artist i personally have ever seen. i attribute my beginning to that man ha

i mean its way fun...get too close to the snow with the poi and melt the snow a bit ha. the only bad part is its super cold and your hands freeze way fast ha
