Posted: Not Quite Pittsburgh Juggling Festival II is less than two months away!
Last year, about 160 jugglers converged on Quaker Valley Middle School in Sewickley, Pa. This year, you should come!
The fest will be Nov 13 and 14 at the school, 201 Graham St. in Sewickley.
It will have lots of open juggling, stilt-walking and unicycling; workshops; games; vendors; and a prop raffle and will end with a Saturday evening show. General juggling activities are free. Show admission is $2.
Open juggling runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, and 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. The show is at 6:30 p.m.
Sewickley is a quaint community with a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. For those of you traveling with nonjugglers, Sewickley is about half an hour away from many of Pittsburgh's top sights, including the Andy Warhol Museum, the Carnegie Science Center and the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.

The Not Quite Pittsburgh Juggling Festival is only two weeks away -- and it's going to be a blast!
Special features this year include a workshop on 360s and 180s led by Jason Garfield at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, and a juggle-art painting demonstration by Bill Roddy at 8:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.
The Saturday night show lineup features Chris, Danny and Andrew Hodge; Bob Nickerson; Aaron Bonk; Jeremy Stanley; Andrew Brown; and members of the Case Juggling Club and the Leave It To Beaver Valley Jugglers. Carla Phillips is the emcee!
Committed vendors are the World Juggling Federation, Penguin Juggling Props, The Golden Jester, All in J.E.S.T, Carla Phillips, the Quaker Valley Middle School Juggling Store and Brian Happie Foshee, who sells portable sound systems for entertainers.
The fest, sponsored by the Leave It to Beaver Valley Jugglers and the Quaker Valley Middle School Juggling Club, will run Friday Nov. 13, from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Please note the 7:30 p.m. showtime, which is later than the time announced in an earlier round of publicity.
The venue is Quaker Valley Middle School, 201 Graham Street, Sewickley, Pa.
Fest activities Friday night and during the day Saturday are free. The show costs $2. We also are seeking donations to help cover festival costs. It will feature lots of open juggling, games, unicycling, videos and raffles.
Sewickley is a quaint, historic suburb of Pittsburgh with lots of interesting shops and restaurants. If you have nonjugglers traveling with you, and they want to do more than shop and eat in Sewickley, they can visit the Andy Warhol Museum, the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, the National Aviary or the Carnegie Science Center while you juggle. All are within a half-hour's drive from Quaker Valley Middle School.
