Alright, I know there's an old topic about this but I'd like to ask a few questions with more (hopefully) recent experiences.

Is it, as rumoured, more toxic to a point of concern?
Is it very smokey?
Does it burn as well as normal kerosene?

1. Burns as well as normal kerosene?

Its no good! And it smells more burning poi. Its only oderless in heaters and lamps.

Ah. I think I'll stick with the primitive kero/citro mixture until I can find a decent source of solvents. I'm thinking either Shell or Recosol if I manage to get into contact with either.
