Name - Jackie, or any variation you can think of that is not tactless in its perversity. tactful perversity will be considered.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Hometown: Los Angeles (please hold your hisses and boos! its a cesspool, but its home)

Birthday (sign?): 8.15.1982 - making me a Leo. behold my narcissism and amazing hair!

Age: 27

Sex: is a biological phenomenon. my gender, however, is 'lady'.

Occupation(s): i divide my time languishing in the loving arms of insubordination and tinkering with databases.

Favorite Food(s): Ethiopian, Japanese, Thai.

Favorite Color(s): subtle blues, bold oranges and muted purples.

What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? depends on how strong the headwinds are and the rate of atmospheric pressure. i guess.

Toys: staff and poi

Hobbies other than the obvious: reading, writing, acting with compassion, walking in springtime, avoiding popular evening destinations, obsessing over post modern cartography.

Education: im putting my bachelors to work each and every day.

Favorite Book(s): This list is way too long to put here. but some of my favorite authors include Joyce, Bantock, Sedaris, Butler, Robbins, Eco, and Rushdie.

Favorite Movie(s): Things that challenge commonly held conceptions of modernity, beauty, and emotion.

Plans for life in general: be the most badass PhD on my block!

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: anything that moves me - from filthy dubstep to beautiful and melodic Mozart.

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? that depends on how you define 'too big'.

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): mint chocolate chip with rainbow sprinkles tastes like childhood. but phish food is great if you are looking for a diabetic coma.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* ive tried vegemite, against my better judgement. it only enhanced my deep and abiding love of Nutella.

Welcome to HoP!

Pepita: not really. That is a primitive reaction to babies, who have the same features. wink

'We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad." [said the Cat.]
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here."

i hear that alot - the baby thing. but, the funny thing about it is that i cant really stand babies. i think they look like old men. and it kind of freaks me out. if you find a baby that looks like a lemur, please let me know!

and thanks for the welcome. its good to be home.....
