Greetings from IL

Hey guys, I've spent the last couple months lurking about and benefiting from all the fantastic information you have here, so I figured I should introduce myself. I most often go by "Shrike" or "Phyrre" with people who don't know me. Honestly, I'll answer to almost everything.

I'm usually around Chicago in Illinois, USA, but right now I'm at college. I'll should be finishing it up in the next couple months. Hopefully, I will be able to grab a job with my Computer Science degree, though I really want to do web development.

Although I'm technically female, I'm more often known as an "awesome" by my friends because I do so many typically male things. I suppose it kind of comes with being a geek and gamer.

Now for the fun short(er) questions:
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? I remember someone handing me a sheet about this in physics for fun. Sadly, I still don't know (Ahhhhhhhhh!)

Toys: A lot. I think everything I own is either a toy or food. As far as poi, I have my first tennis balls on strings, some fuzzy practice poi, sock poi, a set with tails, and my glow poi.

Hobbies other than the obvious: Making Chainmail, Belegarth (fighting with foam weapons), baking, video and board gaming, and drawing to name a few.

Favorite Book(s): Animals in Translation

Favorite Movie(s): Depends heavily on my mood. I love most witty kid's movies, though.

Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? Star Destroyer, of course. Besides it being larger and having crazy laser cannons, since Star Wars happened "A long time ago" Godzilla would've been a baby then. Normally, a baby Godzilla would be too cute to kill, but the Empire is, y'know, evil.

Favorite TV show(s): 30 Rock, It's Me or the Dog, and most cartoons that have some cleverness to them.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: I tend to pick songs individually rather than my artists. My tastes are too schizo for anything else.

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? If you have to ask, yes.

Favorite ice cream flavor(s): Anything with Chocolate.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* Nutella, hands down.
