Hi! I am quite new at poi. Been trying to learn for about a month now and seems like the going is slow. I can do a few maneuvers; forward & reverse butterfly, corkscrew, crossover, forward spin backward spin, opposite directions; I have been stuck on split time for about a week now, but I am making progress. I am hoping to eventually be good enough to spin fire. Anyway I'm glad I found this site. It seems like a fun place and a place where I could get some good advice when I need it and hopefully, be able to give some in the future. Well enuff of that...here we go...

Nuts are bad. Nuts attract squirrels. This is *very* bad.
Star Destroyers are stupidly named. They would actually be the equivalent of cruisers or some other ship of the line.

I don't know about that theory. There are plenty of spinners in this area and the nearest desert is several hundred miles away.

Aston- nuts are good squirrels are good (in the stew pot) I like squirrels
EpitomeOfNovice- I wish I new some spinners around here. I got a friend into it now, but we are both newbies and don't really no enough to teach each other, but it is nice to have someone to practice with.
Aston_ there is plenty of stuff to burn here; ask our fire fighters...
And chocolate and nuts are da bomb!
