Well, this bill just failed, I believe. The funny thing about these elections is that more young liberals did go out and vote, but the older, conservative votes also went up, which was kind of unexpected. I'm amused, at least.

Where is this "America Jr"?

I don't think it was unexpected, it was timing. This proposition was presented to the voter, during a time when the conservative voters were charged. I think it was poor timing to have it on the same ballot as a House of Rep vote.
The whole strategy makes me question who is calling the shots in this campaign. All the proponents have done is set the stage for mass disenchantment. It will take them ages to re-energise their base, which was reluctant to vote in the first place.
