Hello! I'm a very new addition to the community. I just started spinning this past weekend. I've found it immensely enjoyable so far. I'm hoping to keep it as a permanent addition to my life.
I'm drawn to poi as a flowing dance, rather than the contact and juggling I've found some people prefer.
Given time, I think I'd like to move into staff as well.

Favorite Color(s): Grey, Purple, Blue. Cool colors are aesthetically pleasing to me.
Toys: Pretty pink black-bean-filled sock poi, set of LED poi. I'm hoping to get into fire when I'm more confident in my ability to avoid lighting my unmentionables on fire.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Gardening, wargaming.
Education: Some college. Wanted to teach, life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Stonehenge by Bernard Cornwell, any Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.
Favorite Movie(s): Enemy Mine
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? I would think the Star Destroyer, being a little bit out of Godzilla's reach and all.
Favorite TV show(s): None in particular at the moment. I'll watch Dr Who when it's on, and Game of Thrones since I'm reading the books though.
Plans for life in general: As it stands, just kinda going with it. I'd love to finish my schooling and go into education.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Blumchen, Daft Punk, Reel Big Fish, Suburban Legends, VNV Nation, Die Antwoord, Modest Mouse.
Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Are they those terrible skinny jeans? No-one looks good in those.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Pistachio
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? Nutella, since it's the only one I've tried. I'd like to try Vegemite though, were it available here.
