Thanks guys!

Posted: Welp, I only just saw this. I live in Sydney, and normally I'd be down for meeting up to spin but exams are coming up and I'm entering my hermit-shell until the end of the month
Posted: Hi beaniebob! I am coming over to Sydney next month. Do you by any chance know where can I enroll for spinning classes? I am about to finish the beginner's course and I am interested in continuing it there in Sydney.

Posted: Um first thing is this. What prop are you spinning? I'd assume poi, but just to be sure about things.
Secondly, I don't actually know any peeps offering regular classes or workshops for any props in Sydney at the moment, so I can't help with that, but there are definitely peeps around here that spin things and I'm pretty sure that if you come spin with us, we'll all be pretty happy to teach you stuff that we know.
Like I posted before this, it's definitely worth posting on that facebook group I linked before to ask around and find peeps to spin with, but there are two reliably regular weekly meetups that I know of: - Newtown Juggling: Meets every Wednesday at St Stephen's Church Hall (189 Church Street, Newtown) from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. No fire, just spinnan and juggling. They charge some money for hiring the church hall, around $7, I think.
- Circusoc: The UNSW circus arts society, meets every Monday from 5pm to 10pm at the University of New South Wales, either on one of the Lawns or in the Roundhouse. They don't charge for admission but they have some rule about only members being allowed to do fire. (FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2367662958/)
There's also a monthly full moon fire jam at Glebe Point Park and a monthly new moon fire jam at a park in Newtown as well. The deets should get posted onto this page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/3498853103/) when it gets close to the date, I believe. You can also ask around to organise some impromptu spinnan on that group as well EDITED_BY: beaniebob (1372250560)
