Posted: I just don't get the backwards weave. I can do the regular one perfectly but I have some retarded brain block when it comes to doing it backwards. Does anyone have any helpful tips?

Posted: one useful tip I found when learning that was to keep both wrists facing downwards. It gives you more flexibility and you'll find it more fluid as the twisting action stays at the wrist instead of travelling up towards your elbow, and beyond.
Although it's really hard to stop your brain from wanting to make your wrists face each other it's sooo worth the effort of a couple hours practice.
