on saturday i'm going to greece (yay )

i don't know whether i'll be able to light my toys there, but i suddenly had a vision of little me in a greek minimarkt trying to read the greek for paraffin and ending up buying something highly explosive and dangerous...

does anybody know how to buy something to light toys with in somewhere like greece

where are you going ?

Don't you worry ... they have plenty of paraffin / lamp oil (at least where we have our house which is on a tiny island where only half the population ahs electricity).

And it will also be written in english anyway ...
now one advice: BE CAREFULL PLEASE... I don't know where you are going but rememebr that most parts of grece at that time of the year are horribly dry and firemen are nowhere around the small isles etc ...

Spin on the beach if you have no bushes around... please be carefull, Ok ?

And one last thing : be very carefull with the Meltemi, the wind in end july / august can be super strong in the islands...

I so wish I did , sasha, but I'm not going. a greek friend of mine (juggler and firedancer) is going though I beleive ... I heard the vibe is wonderful and the place is breathtaking ... enjoy !!!!

I'm going to be on the mainland of greece dong a theatre course

sadly i'll be there at the same time as 2 of the big festivals and i can't go to them

not really complaining though
next summer may be my festival summer (depending on the money)
