So...here's the deal...

I bellydance, no secret. I aspire to be great at it someday.
Then there are the Bellydance Superstars...*le sigh*

Anyway, they have this thing going where supporters of BDSS wrote a short article to be voted on first by the dancers and then next by the public for the position of touring with them for one week as an Embedded Reporter.
Encouraged by my students and loved ones, and thinking I didn't have a snowballs chance in hell I entered....

And I am one of the 10 finalists.
I am shaking and in tears with joy.
And terrified no one will vote for me.
