Home of Poi has a large range of twirling batons ranging from manipulation batons to reflective striped and fire batons with different style handles.
What is baton twirling?
Twirling combines dance, agility, coordination, flexibility and often gymnastics while manipulating a single baton or multiple batons. The baton can be described as a rod, usually a lightweight metal such as aluminum, with weighted, resilient ends, typically rubber.
What are Magnetic Batons?
These are short batons that are primarily made for isolation type moves. Like the hands on a clock where two batons rotate from it's end points, rather than the middle of the baton.
A wonderful array of lessons are provided to you to get started. Magnetic/Isolation batons create a magical and mechanical wonder to enthrall and capture your audience.

Protecting your Baton from Damage
On our Magnetic batons, striped twirling batons and practice staff ends have a silicon protective knob on the end. This will help protect the ends of the staff and reduce noise when they impact the ground. When the Staffs are made in our Phantom Staff range they all have the capability to join to other phantom parts or even if you purchase the practice ends you can buy an extra knob to put on the other end to make a nicely weighted twirling baton. Even join your two practice staff ends together to create a long twirling baton or practice staff with no added handle.Do you have a practice style staff for indoor or non fire use?
Practice Phantom breakdown staff ends are perfect for for those non fire situations, but still hold a great effect with holographic tape ends you can still use these for practice or performance where the light bounces beautifully off the reflective tape ends. Silicone knobs ends mean that you can use your staff/pole inside and protect your tiled flooring and toes. You can even bounce these on hard surfaces for an extra cool look and trick with minimal noise.
