Has anyone heard of this?

If not, prepare your self for awesomeness!

If you own a PS2, or lucky enough to own an Xbox 360, you probably will have heard of guitar hero I and II. If not, check it here and here.

Cool, no?

I love it, and I'm hooked.

So hooked, in fact, that I was overjoyed to hear that I could play it on my PC should I ever be far away from my PS2.

Frets on Fire is guitar hero, on the pc. Even better is you don't have to fork out 30 odd quid for a plastic guitar. Just use your keyboard!

Anyone else played either of these and loved it?

For those who might try it... be careful! It can suck your life away.

My girlfriend hates it, I know that much ubblol

I luv it too
So much better than air guitar (the real air guitar not the cordless one)

Only problem is the expert level gives me wankers cramp.

May my balls of fire set your balls on fire devil

It is quite possibly one of the finest video games ever produced.

Mind you, Guitar Hero II gets real hard real quick!

I see what you mean about wankers cramp. I reckon it's damn near impossible to complete on expert... so I've given up :P

I live with 2 addicts, and when you've seen someone complete Thunder Horse on 95+% on expert... suffice to say a lot of nights this year the living room's been a no go area.

Jordan is overrated if you ask me tongue

I'd so be up for a play off... I'd drag my guitar and everything down too.

But I dunno if I'll be at Play yet... frown

Been meaning to get this for ages.
I have amplitude, which is similar to guitar hero but you tap out the rythm on the L1 and R1 and 2 keys.

I've completed it three times now on the 'insane' level, and fondly remember thrashing FRD and his brother at it wink

It probably sounds exetremely geeky but I've got to that 'higher level' of gaming on it ubblol
When the level is so hard you shout expletives at anybody who tries to speak to you whilst playing, and you restart the song if you miss just one note, because you 'I know I can better' rolleyes ubblol

PFFFFFFFFFT!!! Do not waste your time on this game! If you want a game thats mad fun, and mad crazy, its called Stepmania. Its a Dance Dance Revolution simulator that is used on the arrowkeys. It has Many different difficulties, and some crazy songs. I'll upload a video in the videos section for you guys. The game is mucho fun. Considering how much HoP points I have, I don't think it'll be long.

But if you don't want to download the game, you can go to the online version FlashFlashRevolution.com

Theres so many different kinds of games there.

But if you want the best DDR Simulator, Google Stepmania.
