hi,
My name is Louise and I'm a 24 year old teacher from Leeds, UK. Have been doing poi for 4 days and I love it. So far I have mastered butterfly, angel wings, hip reels, reel turns and 3 beat weaves forward and backwards. I'm currently working on shoulder reels, windmills and thread the needle.

Excellent stuff... sounds like you is practicing lots.
What do you teach? If you have smallish people you could bring them the love of poi..under the guise of maths or sport or all sorts of things.

i teach languages to teenagers so i dont think i'd be able to fit it into a french lesson, much to my disappointment...
i cracked thread the needle yesterday! woo! am reallly loving my new hobby!!
