OK So I didn't quite know how to go about putting a hole through a tennis ball. Instead of doing that, I grabbed my trusty hemp twine and used the same pattern I use when I make dream catchers to build a sort of net around the ball. Then I attached my trusty handles w/ swivels etc...that I got from Home of Poi and Voila!!! They work GREAT!!!

How frustrating. I suppose i'll just use the picture as my avatar. Of course the pic will be too small to really see how groovy my poi are...UGH!!!
Yup, it's my avatar. I put it in "my gallery" too, so for a larger, easier to see image, go there and click on it, it's worth it, they're groovy.

You're right about the sock thing, definately more time consuming. It is alot easier than it looks though, not as time consuming as you might think.

Or with non-UV string and UV balls. Or something like that. Might need a denser weave though....

To change the ball I would have to cut it out and re-weave but as i've made a few pairs of them now i'm actually getting pretty good at it, I can do it alot faster now. It's fun.
I'd make a bunch of 'em if I could afford the supplies, really the best
cords are the ones from here described as a pair of nylon cords with swivels, quicklink & handles. I used hemp twine for the weave and love that I had blue twine to match the blue cords, groovy.

I haven't the foggiest idea how I could post instructions on dreamcatchers, i'm better at showing. If you want me to though, send me your balls and i'll wrap 'em
That was a joke, i'm silly sometimes. Really though, people mentioned some ideas, like wrapping balls that light up or using some sort of different cord type stuff. Anyone want to send stuff, i'll wrap it and send it back just for fun
